Crib Goch Outdoor Returns Policy

Returns Process

At Crib Goch Outdoor we would like all our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchases. Should you not be happy with the item, regardless of the reason, you may return it. To make Christmas shopping easier our Extended Christmas Returns runs from Sunday 1st November 2023 and will finish on Sunday 7th January 2024. Any purchases made from the 1st of November until the 10th of December 2023 can return purchases until the 7th of January 2024. Purchases after the 10th of December 2023 will have 28 days from their purchase date as per our normal returns policy. Normally all orders are subject to our standard 28-day returns policy. If returning an item which included a star buy, this must be returned with the item, if the star buy is not returned we will deduct the saving made on the star buy from the refund.

Customers must include the Returns Order Form found at the bottom of this page so that we can identify and process the refund as swiftly as possible. If you don't have a printer, just include all the information we require on another piece of paper with the item you're returning.

Please post Recorded delivery. We can only refund after receiving the goods back, proof of postage is not proof of return. Customers are responsible for goods in transit.

We do not swap items, you would need to place another order, should you wish the same item in another size or colour.

The goods must be in an as new and unused condition, in their original undamaged packaging and with labels still attached. The buyer must return the goods at their own expense, unless of course the item is faulty.

Please note the buyer has 30 days from which the goods are received, to return the goods to the above address.


PPE (Facemasks, Climbing Equipment etc ), Food Goods, Socks & Underwear can only be returned if everything is exactly as it was received, unopened/unworn. Packaging and labelling must be intact and underwear must be unworn. If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used, tampered with or contaminated in any way then we regret that we are unable to accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety. Zips are typically not covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

The above does not affect the Consumer Contract Regulations.

In the event that you, the customer, received incorrect or damaged goods, then we will pay for the return of the goods and the replacement item carriage charge. Please provide photos via email toto help expedite the process. If FREE DELIVERY has been offered then this basic delivery cost will also be included in the refund. However if an enhanced delivery service was chosen, e.g. guaranteed next day, then the extra delivery service cost will not be included in the refund only the basic delivery cost.

Faulty Goods

In the event that your purchase is not as it should be or has developed a fault please contact with and explanation of the fault and include the following photos; a photo of the whole item, and photos that clearly show the fault and its location. We will pass on this onto our supplier for their decision on whether the item should be professionally repaired, replaced or refunded. Should the supplier need the item returning before making a decision please follow the above postage intrustions, should the item be deemed faulty then the postage will be credited to the account that made the purchase.

Due to health and safety regulations we will only accept faulty goods in a hygienic and clean condition. Goods which are excessively soiled will be returned to you at your expense.

We sell quality outdoor brands and whilst we do appreciate faults do occur please note that everything has a natural lifetime. For example a jacket purchased over 10 years ago that has been worn everyday may have reached the end of its lifetime.

Please return any faulty items, complete with returns form and proof of purchase. Goods will not be accepted without proof of purchase.

All refunds will be given as soon as possible, at the latest within 30 days, taking into account the original method of payment.

Extended Christmas Returns Policy

We know all too well how difficult it is to find the perfect guift for that special someone, especially when you're picking a size and colour for someone else, which is why we are offering extended Christmas Returns. Starting from November 1st you will have until the 7th of January to return any unwanted Christmas gift(s). All the above conditions apply for refunds to be offered.
